I can't even begin to say how great you guys are. From beginning to end you helped us thru everything w/our wedding and made everything smooth and easy went above and beyond any expectations I had. You guys set the bar extremely high for your industry. You guys are way more than DJ's when it came to my wedding more like wedding coordinators. I truly appreciate all the help with the ceremony and the entrances and being amazing w/all the little curve balls we were thrown that night.

In 2010, we started a brand new overnight cancer charity event, Relay For Life of Upper Illinois Valley.  Aces Wild DJ has been very good to us.  It goes beyond "enjoyable."  They don't just play great music, they understand what our event is all about, and work seamlessly with us in regard to certain songs we want at certain parts of the ceremonies and events, and consistently fills the evening with the perfect selection of songs.  In our event we have three distinct parts over the 12 hours, with a different mood/tone for each segment.  Aces Wild "gets it" and helps create that mood.   We have live entertainment from a single person to full bands, and they can handle it all.  The sound system is top notch equipment - even a long-time sound guy who was part of our Relay this year commented on how good it sounded, how well the P.A. came across, etc.  The speaker placement and cooperation of Aces Wild helped us assure that all of the campsites and participants could hear what they needed to.  If you have specific needs and make them clear to them ahead of time, I would recommend Aces Wild enthusiastically.

Thank you so much for doing an excellent job at our wedding reception.  You played the songs I requested and you also kept people on the dance floor all night.  The guests loved the little props and everyone mentioned how much fun they had the whole night.  I loved the way you took care of Keith and me at the reception, by making sure we had drinks in our hands and we were staying relaxed!  You also helped me understand the importance of having a set time line for the reception... something I didn't even think of!  Overall, you guys did an AWESOME job and I will be recommending you to our family and friends!!!

I was recommended to Aces Wild and would definitely recommend them to others whether it be for a wedding or any type of party.  I wanted a lot of different things at my wedding and Nick was able to accommodate everything that I asked for.  I wanted to do a slide show of pictures of my Father and I as I grew up and Nick was able to take a CD of pictures and put it to the song that we were dancing to so that it could play while we were dancing.  I then threw in up-lighting on him and he not only did the research for me to find the up-lighting but he got it, set it up, and handled all of it.  Both Nick and Connie helped Darren and I out with music as we are not much of the music people they were able to recommend different songs, play them for us, and find other songs as well.  I believe Nick's first question to me when I first saw him at the wedding was "Any more surprises?"  My mother had thrown in a fireworks video at the end of the night with a few slow songs to end the night and then of course giant sparklers for us to walk out to, Nick accommodated her with everything at the last minute on the wedding day!!  Nick kept things very simple and easy when planning everything as well as fun during the planning and definitely at the reception.  We did not have Connie the night of the wedding, Nick had Edson with him.  They did a fantastic job with everything, out of all things that are supposed to go wrong at a wedding/reception; I did not have to worry about anything that Nick and Edson were doing that night.  They kept things going all night and made it very fun and entertaining.

Just wanted to extend a note of thanks to Aces Wild for a wonderful time at our wedding.  I was a very picky bride when it came to the music played at our wedding, and I had a list a mile long of songs I didn't want to hear, plus another list of songs I did want to hear.  Aces Wild did a great job of playing not only what WE wanted to hear, but also, just as importantly, playing the type of songs our GUESTS were responding to, whether they were on the "list" or not.  The props and interaction provided by Aces Wild was fun, different, and incredibly professional.  Doug and I have great pictures with maracas and sombreros on, thanks to the creativity of Aces Wild.  Thank you again for helping to make our wedding day memorable, unique, and special.  I have already and will continue to recommend Aces Wild to anyone who needs a DJ.
